HUSL Celebrates Dedication and Excellence at Staff Appreciation Event
Dean Fairfax hosts his first event as dean of HUSL
Dean Roger A. Fairfax Jr. hosted his first official event as dean of at Howard University School of Law (HUSL). The recent staff appreciation celebration honored HUSL staff for their dedication, excellence, and innovative contributions. The awards recognized extraordinary service, passion, and creativity.
Expressing his gratitude, Dean Fairfax remarked, "It is a privilege to work with everyone at HUSL, especially our dedicated staff members who keep this law school moving forward."

Dr. Frank C. King, Jr., interim dean of administration & operations and director of IT, was honored for his unwavering passion and commitment to HUSL.
Creative Proposal Award:
The Clinical Law Center, represented by Jessica Harris, program coordinator and staff advisor of OUTLaw, received this award for their meaningful and innovative ideas.
Outstanding Teamwork & Creativity Award:
Alicia Jones, director of the Vernon E. Jordan Jr. Law Library, and Carmel Henry, reference librarian and head of Access Services and Library Technology, were recognized for their exceptional performance and creativity.
The Staff Appreciation Event not only celebrated the achievements of HUSL staff but also reinforced the community spirit and the importance of every team member's role in the school's success.
