To foster a safe and inclusive space for all students at Howard Law, regardless of Sex, Gender Presentation, or Sexuality. We, the students of Howard University School of Law, who believe in social justice and social engineering, feel the necessity to provide for the emotional, spiritual, social, and professional well-being of all students, regardless of sexual orientation, preference, curiosity, or otherwise.
To that end, we feel a responsibility to educate the law school community about the history and current legal issues affecting gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, and questioning individuals. We believe that every citizen has a right to equal protection under the law and that as future lawyers, it is our responsibility to both promote and practice equality in every manner possible. We also believe it is our responsibility to dispel the homophobia that surrounds and affects the gay community as those in the legal profession must work closely with individuals of all backgrounds and sexual orientation. However, first and foremost, we shall provide comfort, compassion, strength, and networking opportunities for our fellow gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender brothers and sisters and our supporters.

- provides resources regarding job opportunities in gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgender-friendly firms and organizations, and
- provides resources for students to become involved with the local and national activist community. We work on national agenda issues and co- sponsor panel discussions that focus on the academic and professional concerns of these students.
