Otis N. Ofori, Esq. is an Adjunct Professor teaching Corporate Counsel at the Howard University School of Law.
Mr. Ofori is a Partner and General Counsel at Henley Park Capital, a private investment firm based in Washington, D.C and its affiliate, Henley Park Acquisition Corp. There, he is a member of the management team and assist with all legal matters. Prior to Henley Park, Mr. Ofori was a co-founder of Greenhall Capital Partners, a lower middle market investment firm. While at Greenhall, he advised or closed on over $250 Million dollars of private equity transactions; while serving as a member of the investment committee.
Prior to Greenhall, Mr. Ofori was a General Counsel and Principal for an asset management firm. At the firm, he was responsible for the on-going disposition of an asset portfolio, which amounted to $5 Billion dollars of transactions over the time period. He also worked at the law firm of Winston & Strawn LLP and global advisory firm LECG.
Mr. Ofori is licensed by the Virginia State and Massachusetts State Bar. Mr. Ofori currently serves as a member of a number of non-profits including Capital Partners for Education (CPE), National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) and Holy Trinity Church (HTC) of McLean, Virginia. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Virginia. He also received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Virginia Tax Review.
