Howard University School of Law has launched a campaign to renovate our Moot Court Room in honor of Damon J. Keith, one of our most prestigious alumni.

The Moot Court Room will be named:
THE HONORABLE DAMON J. KEITH MOOT COURT

The Moot Court Room was last renovated in 1975. The planned renovation includes a new spatial design that will improve sight lines and acoustics, and will incorporate state-of-the-art courtroom technology and new furnishings. The renovation will be an important upgrade to the Law School facility and will assist in our continuing effort to recruit outstanding students.

THE HONORABLE DAMON J. KEITH

Senior Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit Background/Jurisprudence of Damon Keith with links to landmark cases such Davis v. School District of the City of Pontiac

FUNDRAISING GOAL

Through Howard University Law School, we came to know these lawyers who are legends today in African-American legal history.  They include Charles H. Houston, Thurgood Marshall, William H. Hastie, Jr., James Nabrit Jr., Spotswood Robinson III, George E.?C. Hayes . . .  They taught us that the Constitution was our best hope; that equality would come through the law
