Langston Society

The Howard University School of Law Donor Recognition Program recognizes the School of Law’s most generous benefactors. While the School is thankful for all gifts, the Donor Recognition Program recognizes alumni and friends who give at least one thousand dollars annually and corporations, foundations, and organizations that give at least ten thousand dollars.

The Langston Society

Named after John Mercer Langston, the founding dean of the School of Law, the Langston Society honors individual alumni and friends who demonstrate their commitment and leadership to HUSL through annual gifts of $1,000 or more.

Students and Young Alumni (up to 5 years after graduation): eligibility for membership into the Langston Society based on contributions totaling one-half of the regular rate ($500.00).

Counting Rules: giving on a fiscal basis (July 1 to June 30) to all designations; matching gifts included; spouses qualify through their combined gifts.

Periodic Review: Society levels are subject to periodic review and revision.
