Howard University School of Law celebrated its 150th Anniversary Saturday, April 13, with its Sesquicentennial Reception & Gala at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, DC.

About 540 Howard Law alumni, friends and legal community guests attended the event. During the Gala, former Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and his wife Catherine were recognized for donating $100,000 to the law school.

“The law school’s Sesquicentennial provides a unique moment for us to celebrate some exceptional members of the Howard Law community,”  said Danielle Holley-Walker, dean of Howard University School of Law. “Tonight, we honor 15 individuals who have excelled in the profession, served their communities and Howard’s law school. …We honor them tonight for their outstanding achievements.”
