Howard Law Students Commended For Pennsylvania Voter Protection Work

Howard University School of Law Alumna and Cooper Levenson Attorneys at Law Partner Yolanda N. Melville (J.D. ’12) wrote a letter to Dean Danielle R. Holley on Election Day commending a group of 17 Howard Law students on a job well done assisting with election protection efforts in Philadelphia from Nov. 6-9. Melville, a national NAACP legal committee member, specifically pointed out the students’ launch of the multi-state election protection efforts, their early arrival to the Philadelphia NAACP offices for the day’s volunteer efforts, and their conduction on-demand legal research about novel issues.
