Howard Law Professor Elected to Association of Legal Writing Directors Board of Directors

Howard University School of Law’s Sha-Shana Crichton, assistant professor of lawyering skills, has been elected to the Association of Legal Writing Directors’ Board of Directors. 

Elected by the association’s membership, the Board of Directors works to implement the mission of the organization. Pursuant to the Bylaws, the Board of Directors includes five officers and nine board members. Presidents serve a three-year term, first as president-elect, then as president, and finally as immediate past president. Other officers and board members serve three-year terms. Board member terms are staggered so that three board members are elected each year.
